April/May 2026

  • Live Hunt Notifications — Email notifications now extend to Live Hunts. Get a daily summary of your team's Live Hunt matches, enabled via the Notifications toggle in the UI.
  • Output Field Improvements — Added MD5 and SHA1 as additional output fields on the Live Hunt results endpoint, and added file size (in bytes) to the metadata search endpoint.
  • Network Intelligence Tools — Added new static network analysis to the scanning pipeline. The returned JSON now includes WHOIS, GeoIP, and other data points for IPs and URLs.
  • New Beta UI — A new toggle (in UI settings) turns on PolySwarm's new Unified UI: a simple, easy-to-use single view for verdicts, scanning, sandboxing, and other tools.

January 2026

  • Notification Webhooks — You can now register notification webhooks to receive automatic push notifications when sandbox tasks complete. This enables automated workflows and real-time integrations with your security tools. Use the CLI command polyswarm notification webhook --help to get started.
  • LLM-Powered Sample Reports — New downloadable reports providing AI-generated summaries of malware sample analysis. These reports synthesize scan results, sandbox findings, and threat intelligence into actionable summaries for faster analyst triage.
  • Expire Files in Private Community - Applies to Private Communities only and affects new uploads via the Scan endpoint. After the configured number of days, the binary file is deleted, but the metadata remains available, so the hash can still be searched.
